Devotees will remember last years trip off the island began with am awaking at about 330 for the trip to the hospital. However, last years trip did not include a ten minute wait on the on ramp of US50 as the police rearranged the traffic pattern followpng overnight construction work. Just as I was about to bust a move and zooms down the on ramp and make a break for the bridge, the lead police cruiser started to roll. This deescalated the situation and there were no further incidents to report on the way in.
