Hannah's BIG CHANCE!

Girl time!

This past Wednesday and Thursday my friend Jade came up to visit. We had a great time. Wednesday afternoon we went up to the beach in the neighborhood and let Hannah play in the sand! She loved it!!! It was so nice outside! On Thursday Hannah had her 6 month checkup.

New things

Just wanted to update that Hannah is waking up in the mornings talking to herself! The baby babble is just too precious! I love it! She "talks" to me and I talk about and we just go back and forth, its awesome!!! After her nap today I found her in her crib on her knees rocking like she wanted to take off crawling!!! Ahhh Hannah mommy is not ready for that yet baby girl!!!! WOW everyday is something different! AMAZING! Hope everyone is having a great weekend!!!

6 month visit

Hannah had her 6 month visit today!!! She now weights 15 pounds and is 25 3/4 inches long!!!!



She's getting to be such a big girl!!! This morning she woke up and was just as happy in her crib talking to herself. Babbble babble babble!!!! She says all sorts of sounds baa, maaa, ohh, laaa and so on! I love it! Everyday is literally something new!!! I'm so blessed to be able to stay home and catch every moment with her!

Swinging into fall

HAPPY FALL TO EVERYONE!!!!

We took a walk up to the beach yesterday played in the sand, met a new friend and got to swing for the first time!!! She was pretty much done by this point (fell asleep as soon as i put her in the stroller) and was to entertained by the other people at the beach to actually look at the camera!!!! She enjoyed the swing and smile and laughed when I pushed it. Only a little bit of course!!!


We had a great time and now that the weather has cooled off some, we will be doing more walks to the beach!!! :)

As I said before she fell asleep on the way home, I didn't know if she would so I did not lay the seat down right away but I checked on her a few minutes later and saw this. She's just a sweetie pie!!! So I laid it down all the way and she had a quick little snooze!!!

Hilton Head, SC

Hilton Head 09!

We loved Hilton Head, Hannah relaxed all the time in her float. She did not care if she was in the pool or the ocean. The ocean usually made a little "mini ocean" so that's what we usually put her in.




Man I tell ya, I don't get to lay out and read like I use to with a 6 month old in tow! HAHA! I got like no reading done and only like 5 hours in the sun on the beach the entire week!!!



One of the days on the beach, dad was walking along and found a live starfish!!! How cool is that!?? You usually don't see them live. We also found a live sand dollar walking on the beach at night!!! Pretty neat!



We went Kayaking! Dad, Sarah and I one time then the next was us, mom, JJ and AA!!! Here's Hannah, poor baby wanted to go!!! Maybe next year!

Milestones.........

So we have been busy either hanging out in MD doing the lazy thing, or in Richmond hanging out OR at the beach AGAIN! Last week we went to Hilton Head, SC and had an amazing time!! The weather was great, Hannah was great and the company was well....ok GREAT as well! My folks, my friend Sarah, Aunt, Grandma, and my brother and his GF all went!

Hannah was 6 months on the 11th......so tomorrow I will post the monthly diaper/rocking chair pictures!

So let's catch up, before the beach, my friend Sarah came up to visit and we did all the fun girl things....SHOP, went to a cookout, went out for seafood, napped!! It was a great weekend!! One night I even got a babysitter and Sarah and I went out!!! Yay! It was great to actually get out and be myself and carry a purse! (although I LOVE my Kate Spade diaper bag!!!!)



I got her a drum that she pats on and makes a ton of noise...she LOVES it!!



We also introduced the sippy cup to Hannah, she's into it but is not drinking a lot from it yet!! But give the girl time and she will have it down!!!

Home sweet home!

We had GREAT vacation in Emerald Isle, NC! I really enjoyed all of Hannah's firsts! It was a really hot humid week so we did not venture to the beach a lot with her but the house had a pool so we took advantage of that with Hannah! My camera is still packed somewhere in one of the suitcases so I have my dad's pics so I will post some of his! :)



We brought my little cousins, Chloe and Lorena along. They have never been to the beach, they loved the ocean!!! It was a bit rough some days and they loved getting tossed and thrown down by the waves! Those girls were crazy!!! We brought sand toys and they didn't care about them they wanted the ocean!
