Cinderella, Cinderella......

Here is what happens when I sit back and watch Hannah get into whatever she wants to..........

Here she is playing nicely with her phonic letters that sing a nice alphabet song.

Then the cabinets call her name.......don't worry there is nothing but trash bags and NEW sponges under there. Yes trash bags are bad but I'm right there!

Showing off her prize!

Then out of no where she decides to clean the floors!! ( I LOVE THIS GIRL!) I guess the wooden floors were not up to her liking so she took action!

She slid around the floor for a while doing this, just moving the sponge here to there, there to here!!! It was cute! So YES I sat back and enjoyed myself and put my 10 month old to work!! What are kids for anyway!?!? :)

Cleaning and dusting!! haha

FYI: Hannah did not break any child labor laws in the cleaning of the floors!

After all the hard work Hannah decided it was time to play and then of course couldn't keep her eyes open so you know what that means.....NAP TIME!!!!!

Taking the walker for a walk

Check out Hannah is action, the first one she is bumping the walker into the walls (don't show Daddy!!!) and making a lot of noises the second video she is actually moving and grooving....notice it's quite (very rare for Hannah to be quiet) so she must be concentrating!!!

I can't wait to actually catch her taking her first steps!!! She reminds me of a little old lady shopping pushing her walker!! haha

Sleeping beatuy

This is how I found Hannah yesterday morning during her nap!! Poor thing! I don't know how that is comfortable! It's like she was sitting up playing then just plopped right over and went to sleep!!! I've straighten her out many times before and she just get's right back into that same position! She's a hoot!! Her musical aquarium is hanging on it's side, she's laying on her little cuddle bears, I guess the saying is true "sleeping like a baby"

Busy busy weekend!

We had a very productive busy weekend but yet still relaxing! I love the weekends!! Lets see where to start?? Friday was playgroup day, we had a playground in the morning with our friends in the neighborhood and then I took Hannah and Lauren to the library to get some books then home for lunch and naps! Then we were off to another playground with some friends in Annapolis! Whoa! Baby girl was so worn out she held out to her normal bedtime though! AND slept 7pm till about 8oclock!!! AMAZING! She usually gets up at 7am! So we got to "sleep in" :o) Thank you Hannah!

Wide eyed Hannah after her long night of sleep!!

Saturday was shopping day! Went out on a search for more WII games which was not successful but we did go to MY favorite store.....PIER 1!!! Of course we found a few things there!!! We went to Best Buy and found the new washer and dryers I hope to someday have when we go to re-do the kitchen/laundry room!! Woo Hoo!! Here is our little munchkin in all her glory STANDING in the cart with the seat belt on still around her waist! Check out her pants leg, one up one down and I'm sure her socks and shoes tossed off into the cart! :)

Here's Hannah playing on her favorite toy...Teddy. He looks thrilled. I was down on the floor playing with her and he came right up to us and laid down! So we covered him up and he laid his head down for a bit! HAHA!!! Then she processed to climb and pull on his ears!!

He's good though, he just lays there and takes it! He LOVES the attention!!!

Here's the queen's new seat! The other chair was big and with me having extra kids around it just seemed easier to get a chair that was smaller and it matches our kitchen set and hutch perfectly! I've only been obsessing about it for WEEKS now!! I'm happy! It fits nicely when it is not being used!

More food Mom!!!

Sunday we did our normal rotinue......just a bit earlier this week! We got to sleep in YET AGAIN till 8:20 and wanted to go to the 9 oclock Mass. We didn't set an alarm bc we thought Hannah (our alarm clock) would get us up) so we woke up late but decided to try it anyway and we made it in time!! Thankfully the Mass always starts a little late. Hannah was quite for about 10 mins then she got loud and was talking and trying to get into everything! Off to the Baby room her and I went! She was and is never "bad" in church just LOUD! Hmmmm wonder where she gets that from?? Her daddy!?!??! :)

Anyway then after church we go to Hollys for brunch....Yummy. Always good and great service! Then we decided to take Teddy to the dog park to play with the other dogs! It was ok outside so we bundled baby up and off we went!!!

Hannah just watched Teddy and the dogs run around, she tried to folllow them her head was going back and forth back and forth......I don't know how she did not get dizzy!!!

Well then it was my favorite time of day.....NAP!!!! Hannah and I got a good 2 hour nap in while Remi did some painting!!! Sucks to be him!!! haha!

Hope you all had a great weekend! I know we did :)

10 months old

Guess what?? I'm 10 months old now!! (Well on January 11th I was!!)

I'm getting into all sorts of stuff, the dog's water/food, the dishwasher, the dryer, (when they are left open, they are learning to close these things now with me) doing stairs, walking with the walker, and lots more!

My friend the gorilla

I'm gonna get you!!!!! (or the camera!)

A little playtime before bed........nightnight

Hannah now weights 17 pounds and is 28 inches long!!! She's a very healthy active beautiful little girl to quote the doctor! :) We are still nursing! ( I KNOW!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT MYSELF) It's not been too bad, actually its been a breeze and since I stay home I don't have to pump and deal with all that. So we are nursing 3x a day (morning, afternoon and bedtime) I can skip a feeding and it doesn't matter. I sometimes nurse her then a little bit later Remi will do dinner with her so I can go out with my girlfriends (thanks honey! love ya) Soon we will be dropping a feeding (the afternoon one) to get ready for whole milk around her birthday. I don't plan on nursing much more after March. It's been great and a very positive bonding experience but I think it will be time to stop by then. She only has 2 teeth now and so far (fingers crossed) no painful experiences, if ya catch my drift!!! So with her getting old and more teeth....I don't wanna be her chew toy!!! haha!!!

Thanks for reading! Love ya!

Heat Wave

It was 50 degrees here today in Maryland!!! WoooHooo!! That's warm for all you East Coast and Southerners!!! It was icy yesterday morning and chilly but today was "warm". Gotta love east coast living! So today we went for a walk and had lots of play time!!!

Hannah's feeling a bit better so today we went for a quick walk just to get some fresh air and stretch our legs. Here is Hannah and the little girl I keep Lauren. She was pushing the stroller and I was walking the dog. Kinda nice not having to push that thing around! haha

Crawling around and getting into everything...

The play area, she loves the little house and dragging her toys everywhere.

Toys, Toys and more Toys!

What a big girl! Helping load the dishwasher!

Not really helping but more like trying to climb in

And now shes on the door pulling the dishes out! Luckily it was just the kid's plastic ones! haha

Now dessert time! HAHA Just kidding but she seriously loves playing in the dogs water!!! She drenches herself! (Bad parenting I guess b/c I just had to get picture of these things today!!)

My poor baby girl

Also while we were in Richmond, we took a trip to KidMed in Short Pump. Hannah was starting to have a cough on the way down Saturday morning, did not think much of it because you really can't give babies anything, Well after her afternoon nap she woke up cranky and had a fever of a 104!!!! I was freaking out! She was fussy going down for a nap so I just laid her in bed with me so we napped together. That should have been my first sign b/c she does not snuggle much anymore. :( She had no ear infection, nothing in her lungs, just a cold that has to work it's course.

She was so warm and so clingy....it broke my heart seeing her so helpless. She just wanted to be held and loved on. I had no problems giving her love! :)

Keep her in your thoughts please, we are back home now and it's Wednesday and she still has her cold and a double ear infection on top of that! She's such a sweetheart, I just want her better!! I miss my Happy Hannah!!!!

This was taken Saturday at KidMed waiting to see the doctor. You can see how warm she was by the reddness in her cheeks.

9 months

I just realized that I never blogged about Hannah on her 9 month appointment that was ONE MONTH AGO!!

At 9 months Hannah weighted a whopping 16 1/2 pounds and was 27 inches long! Finally Remi was home and able to go to the doctors with us. She got I want to say 4 shots?? Maybe just 2 but still it hurt us more to see her get shots than it was for her....probably.

Here are some actions shots of Hannah in her normal poses....except for she's on the move this month. Shes crawling fast and gets faster everyday, pulling up on things and doing steps already! We are just waiting for her to take that first solo step!!! She will walk along the side of the sofas, coffee table, etc......shes our little monkey girl!

Enjoy these! I plan to capture her 10 month pictures tonight (we will see if that happens)

Hope everyone had a great weekend!!!!

Going for the camera here and about to fall off the futon....

Happy Hannah

SoooOooOo Big and long!

Not sitting still long enough of me to get a picture!

The little escape artist in action!

Sweet Sixteen.......

This past weekend we went to Richmond once again for Remi's brother's birthday. He was turning 16 so a pretty big moment for teenagers!!! Although I think now in VA you have to be 16 and a few months to drive but anyway here are a few pictures from our trip!!

Teddy all packed and ready to go!!!! He loves visiting his cousin Mya! Remi had the bag sitting by the door and Teddy got it hooked around his neck and was dragging it around. I guess he thought if he had the bag then we couldn't forget him? He's an odd dog but we love him!

Dewi and his dad. It was a Mexican themed birthday but we ate pizza!!

The birthday boy sporting his new boxers........(this might haunt him later)

Hannah's Mexican parents!

Olay!!!

Stair Master

As you may already know, Hannah's Christmas gift to us was her being able to tackle a "few" stairs. By few I mean one or two.....Well you know us and we only want to encourage and push our daughter to go further.....as does everyone.

Well it kinda bit us in the behind! :o) Last night Remi was taking her up to get ready for bed and he decided to let her crawl up and she did!!!!!!!! ALL the way up too!! In like 2 minutes!! It was crazy! So today I put her by the stairs and let her go up!

Weekend in PA

ver the weekend we went to visit our friends Chris and Jill in PA. It was his 30th birthday and on Sunday they had a baby shower for Jill. Shes in February 16!!! They are going to be such great parents! They are amazing with Hannah!!! Saturday night we went out for Chris's birthday to a place called "The Works" which is pretty much like a Dave and Busters. Soooo much fun!! We had a lovely dinner and dessert for some people then we played games, skee ball, air hockey, basketball, etc....all of which I totally stink at BUT had a good time playing!! I love air hockey sooooo much that I even scored in my own goal a few times! :)

So here's the boys playing a competitive game of basketball while the women just watch...........

Sunday there was a football game Eagles VS Cowboys which by now we know that the Eagles got killed by the Cowyboys :( but here is Hannah sporting Daddys jersery anyway!!!! So precious!

Hannah looking up at her silly daddy! <3

So here is a little video of once we got back Hannah playing with her new toy a little rider that can convert to a walker which by the look of things.....I need to put it in walker mode! :)

B&O Railroad Museum

Last Wednesday before the new year ended and Remi had to head back to work we decided to take Hannah and the kids I keep to the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Museum!!! We had a great time there!

The boys (Remi and Christopher) enjoyed themselves the most!!! Hannah will learn to love trains just like her daddy!! It was really neat because they had the smaller scale models that people had done out. They were amazing! It was like little towns anything and everything from people, pets, water towers, cars, trucks to buildings on fire, (with smoke and flames!!) mountains, water streams and much much more!!! And of course TRAINS! Trains with people in them, animals, cargo and even A LIVE GOLDFISH!! Seriously one model train had a filter on it a it could circulate water and keep the fish alive! Pretty serious stuff!!!

It was a lot of fun, while in Baltimore we headed to meet the kids mom for lunch. It was good times for all!!!

The kiddies Christopher and Lauren

We're leaving on a train.........

Daddy and his girl!

We have our tickets for the TRAIN RIDE!!!! Where frosty even made an appearance!!

Gingerbread house

Here are the pictures of Hannah's gingerbread house that Sarah and Chloie decorated! It looks amazing!!!! Hannah was napping during most of it then we tired to get her to help but she just wanted to eat most of it! HAHA That's when we let her try a candy cane and she LOVED them! There has not been much she didn't like! Somehow there was too much snow on the roof and a corner piece broke off but thats ok. Since the pictures were taken I think I have snagged a few candy canes and gum drops off there as well!!! Shhhh.....I don't think Hannah will notice!

I can't wait to do them next year and have Hannah help make the ginger bread them put them together then decorate it!!!! How fun!!
