Beach time!

Today started off POURING and was drizzly on and off but by the afternoon early evening it cleared off and the sun was out!!! Soooo I did what any parent of a toddler would do....we headed outside finally!!

I thought we would head to the beach since it was nice and it had been a while since we were up there! Hannah had a blast!!! She defiantly needed a bath afterwards!! She even got in the water! I should have known but I thought since the water was cooler she wouldn't go for it....WRONG!

It was a lot of fun and I'm trying to enjoy these last few DAYS with just her and me! I can't believe this time next week I will have TWO kids! Well a toddler and a newborn!



So instead of building sandcastles or finding shells she puts sand in the bucket and dumps it on her! haha that's my girl!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE BEST DADDY IN THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!




Last weekend was Remi's birthday and we just had a low key weekend, my mom and my other grandma (meme as Hannah calls her) came up in hopes to try and take the futon again that my brother wants for his house so we can put the crib up for new baby!!!! Last time they tried to get the futon it was raining so we waited :)

So Friday was Remi's "Day" he could have cared less and if I was feeling up for it, we would have made a bigger deal but just wait till next year.....30! and Hannah will be able to play into it as well!! Mwahaaha I love you baby!!! We just had a nice dinner and a cookie cake b/c we all LOVE cookies!!

My nana (Hannah's meme) bought her a baby stroller and baby doll which she LOVED she couldn't wait for us to get it out of the box!!!! She took that baby and stroller and went walking!


Hannah's favorite walking partner is her meme so off they went and they went for like 30 mins of her walking and pushing the stroller!!! I was impressed by my little monkey!



Pushing it all around the house and chasing the dog with it :) haha poor Teddy!!


On Sunday Hannah and daddy made a special treat and she LOVED helping!!!! and of course making a mess!!!

Well I'm not saying we have started potty training but she's definitely interested in the potty and doesn't like having a dirty diaper. She will usually tell me by holding her nose or saying poopoo so that's pretty impressive....I think.

I've been feeling blah and just exhausted so when Remi's home he's better at putting on the potty and letting her read or just sit there she has not actually gone in the pot but she gets the concept when she pee's or poops she needs a change and it goes in the potty!

What else?? I'm 2 weeks away from my due date! Yay!!! We are so ready! Oh something else with my Bells Palsy so that's good news!!!!My blood work came back a few weeks ago but I forgot to update the blog and I do NOT have Lyme disease so that's great news!!! Although that was totally treatable with medication but it comes with other problems!

A good dinner (?!!)

Lately we have been having trouble at dinner. She doesn't want to sit in her highchair she wants to sit on our laps and eat off our plates, even though she has the same thing on her plate. Or she stands up in the highchair to eat (undoing her buckle, yes she can do it!!!) throws her food, cup, you name it she does it! Very very annoying and we usually sit down with her but eat after she's in bed! Sometimes she doesn't eat dinner and will just pick at her food and have some milk for her meal. She seems ok with that so whatever right!?!? She doesn't wake up in the middle of the night screaming for food so she's not starving herself.

She eats great at breakfast and lunch is hit or miss and she doesn't get a whole lot of snacks during the day so the doc and other mom's say they just go through phases where they eat a lot then don't so ohwell!! I'm done stressing over it!

It was really nice out so we played out back for a bit. She loves to do chalk and for some reason she thinks it's like crayons and we use chalk on the table.....again picking my battles it washes off with rain so why not right?!!?

Going for the food......Here she's in her booster seat which I need to take down b/c she only wants to sit in that instead of her highchair plus she has a hard time reaching the table.

We had lasagna for dinner here and garlic bread, I think she ended up eating just the bread and thought the lasagna was poison....even though she's had it before and LOVED it. Kids they have a mind of their own.......

Daddys in charge

Thanks Jon and Jess for the shirt! I love PINK! They got this for Hannah when they were in Jamaica for their wedding! We were suppose to go but someone had to go away that same week.......not going to mention any names.....REMI!!!!!! haha


These are from last Sunday, sorry for the delay. I've been extremely exhausted and not sleeping well this week so come evening I veg out in front of the TV!

This week is back to normal for us, Remi's back to work and it's just me and Hannah!! It's been a pretty slow week. Getting her back into a routine and just taking it easy! Home and taking advantage of nap time! It's great! I'm going to miss those when the new baby comes!!! Last weekend we had my mom (Nana) and Grandma (GG) come visit they were suppose to take the futon that's in Hannah's room back with them but it was raining so they will get it this weekend! We got another crib one that's a convertible crib so we will put Hannah in that then the crib Hannah is in now to the new baby! I can't wait to switch cribs! It was a nice easy weekend with not much going on! I got bedding for the new baby, just a plain light green bedding nothing fancy or too boyish! Sunday after mom left I took a nap with Hannah and then I headed out to get a pedi and mani!! Remi took Hannah to the grocery store and did dinner and bath! It was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo nice to get out alone and get pampered! Thanks baby I love ya!

I came home to dinner made and a messy kitchen but I got to see cute pictures of Hannah helping daddy make dinner so it was ok!



She's really into this helping stage which I'm totally cool with, she loves to push the chair over and help make dinner, load and unload the dishwasher, put clothes in the washer/dryer you name it she will help you will it or at least try to "help" you! :)

This picture cracks me up, I think she's purposely dropping cheese so Teddy can get it! Look at him climb under the chair to get the food!

I came home to daddy and Hannah watching FOOTBALL! Cuddled up on the couch! It was precious! We all snuggled for a bit then it was Hannah's bedtime!!

Such a girl!!!

OH MY!!!! We are in trouble now!! We have a baby gate at the top of the stairs so usually when I'm getting ready, putting clothes away, cleaning, etc....Hannah roams around upstairs. It's just our bedroom, a bathroom and her room. Everything baby proofed! Everything else is downstairs. Well recently she's been "quiet" and this is what she's been up too!!

She already had her shirt off from breakfast so thankfully she can't undress herself....YET!! But watch out because when the pants/shorts are off the diaper is close behind!!!

She's like what?? I wanted a new outfit mom! Sorry for the quality of the pictures, they were taken with my blackberry! She did this while I dug out all of the newborn clothes for the baby!!! She saw me pulling things out so she was just trying to "help"


I can't blame anyone but myself because my mom said I would do the same thing ALL the time! Empty out my dresser drawers.......sorry mom!

36 weeks.....

Well Tuesday I had my 36 week appointment and all is still well!! No news is good news right?!?!

I'm huge, still growing what feels like everyday and the baby is still a mover, I guess he/she has not settled down into the "heading out" position yet!!! Things around here are coming together. We got a crib which we plan on putting Hannah in because it's a convertible crib so we'll do the crib then the toddler bed then full size when she's older!!! Hopefully she won't mind giving up the crib she's in now to baby! I've dug out the newborn clothes and need to start washing them soon. As well as pack my hospital bag because I keep having these dreams (again and again night after night) that I get to the hospital and I don't have ANYTHING with me! Nothing for me or baby! ahh! :)

So while I was at Target I picked up a bunch of travel size things for our stay there now I need to grab some outfits both boy and girl and for me, and a few other odds and ends then hopefully I can rest at night until I have to wake up and pee!!! (Which is like 10000000000 a night now!)

I will back in the groove of taking pictures of me, things have been nutty recently so that's been forgotten! But the last few weeks you REALLY grow! It's crazy how you don't think you can get any bigger and you DO!

Labor Day Weekend!

This past weekend was PERFECT! We had lovely weather and great visitors!! I don't think we really did anything on Friday, just hung out us 3 and did some errands! On Saturday my friend Awbree and her family came over to visit with us. She has a little boy Austin who's the same age as Hannah and they are adorable together! Of course for some reason we didn't take any pictures of the kiddies!!! We headed to the beach for a little bit and let them run around in the sand and water!!! A nice calm day and it was now crowded yet! Double yes!

Sunday we had a friend of Remi's come visit us, that just moved from Colorado to Va beach area, and she drove her motocycle!!!! I think Remi and Hannah were both drooling over that thing!!! I think the helmet was a little bit heavier than her!

A bit after Christy arrived we all got ready and headed up to Kentmorr Restaurant for dinner! We have been on a BIG "Maryland" kick recently, crabs, seafood, good beer (well, Remi) all the things that scream MARYLAND oh and old bay! Sooo it was only natural to take her to a seafood restaurant on the water!!!! It was a great location and great time! Minus the wait......BUT they had an amazing beach and play things to keep us entertained!

FREEDOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She just ran and ran fell splat into the sand and kept going! That's my girl!


Ok, she kept doing this and of course we would keep checking her diaper to see if she did a stinky, but that was not the case! She was doing it to get a better look at the airplanes, (Kentmorr is air strip as well so they have many small planes coming in and going out so she became obsessed), she did it to look at the boats better, see the birds, anything! It's her new "view" on life!

AAAaaaaahhhhh......Just another day in paradise!


We have been out to eat so much recently trying to take in all we can of the summer and dock bars, it makes me (well us) realize that we truly LOVE it here on Kent Island! We are like 15 mins from Annapolis, live in a water community with the beach a few blocks away from us, have water access pretty much anywhere, have techinally water in our backyard but......unless it's a hurricane you can't put much in it! :) It's great! Yes we are far away like 2 1/2 hours from our family but when we have visitors it's soo much to do and see! When we can not worry about jobs and income we think we want to move back to Richmond or somewhwere closer and buy land to build a house on but till then we are where we need to do and will take the water..............Now if we just could afford a boat!!! Well we could we just call her Hannah (and baby # 2) instead!


Hurricane Earl........say what!??!?! (totally passed us) and MOST of the East Coast! Yay!!!!!

Just an update!

Hey yall, things here have finally calmed down. I went to the doctor and did more test, they think it might be Lyme disease (again kinda freaks me out even more) But they said once I have the baby it's very treatable I just can't take the heavy meds while pregnant! So we should know the results of that after the holiday. But I got checked out and put on more medicine for the pain the inflamed nerve has been giving me. (Headaches, neck pain and sometimes leg pain) I have an ear infection and inflamed sinus's from this "virus" thing whatever you want to call it!!! But I'm feeling myself again well as much as I can at 35 weeks!!!

Hannah had a few rough days/nights and after 2 in a row we go to the doctors and yup just what I thought.....another ear infection! Poor baby! So after a day or so of her meds she's back to normal and sleeping like the champ she is!!!! We made lots of yummy desserts since baby was craving them.


Just something simple here that I always have...chocolate chip cookies the easy way....breakables!


Licking the batter with daddy on a butter pecan cake......just a bit enough of picture purposes so not enough of the raw egg to hurt my little bit!



The countdown has officially started! ONE MONTH TODAY! Oct 4 is my due date and b/c of the repeat c-section it will probably actually happen on my due date or the 5th so...........ahhh!!! Freak out mode for me!!!

We are getting a new crib next week, a wooden white crib that converts so we will put Hannah in there and give the older crib to baby. Hope Hannah likes her new bed! We will keep her in the crib for as long as possible! Then do the toddler one then big girl bed but I don't see that happening anytime soon.


Remi (and I ) decided to redo our bathroom upstairs which has needed it from day 1 of moving in 2 years ago and just did everything else in the house instead, new floors, painted, baby's room, kitchen, yard....you get the picture. So we got a wild hair and decided to treat each other to a nice bathroom. Everything went so smoothly got the floor ordered, paint, fixtures, new shower curtain, towels etc....Then we get a call that the floor that was suppose to go in YESTERDAY was on back order so it will be put in next week! OHWELL! Life goes on, there are bigger issues to stress over! So the bathroom is painted, some of the fixtures are in, the rest are in Hannah's room so it's half done. So I have posted the pictures during the process and you will have to wait till it's completely done to see the rest!



Just your basic ugly nothing special bathroom! Remi had already started to rip the floor up then we decided duh! Before and after shots.....but he has already gotten a little far when we thought of that! haha

Daddy's little helper! and yes she wanted to wear her bathing suit over her PJ's some kinda bad so were at home just hanging out so why not right!??! She loved "painting" she was amused for quite a long while.....peace and quite for mommy no work getting done for daddy......
