Nags Head 2010

Here is a preview of our vacation in Nags Head, NC! I need to upload pictures (of course!!) We had a great vacation it was HOT HOT HOT!!!! We couldn't even stay on the beach very long or lay out by the pool. You had to be in the water pretty much anytime you were outside!

I was exhausted pretty much the entire week! Between being pregnant, chasing after Hannah, the heat........yeah you can imagine! But it was worth it to be with the family and enjoy all of our adventures of driving on the beach, lazy days by the pool, the burning hot sand on the beach, kayaking in the swamp, and lots more!!!

Stay tuned! We are back in MD this week with my mother in law staying with us! (ahhhh a little relaxation time for ME!) Then headed to Richmond for a while to finally visit with our friends and family without having to worry about rushing back for work! yay for summer!!!!

Woof Woof

Ok, Hannah may hate me for this later in life but it's funny and I'm her mom so I don't care!! haha!

She's learning her animal noises and what they say well now she's learning what they do. Here in the picture she's acting like a dog! She said "Dog woof woof" then bent down and tried to eat her food like a dog! OMG I was laughing so hard! She's a hoot! I have no idea where that came from. She's so smart!!

I took a picture of the picture on my camera b/c the card reader does not work and I've yet to get one!!

A day at the park!

Today was AMAZING the weather was in the 70's!! I opened the windows and got some fresh air!!! I love having them opened!

We headed off to the park this afternoon and Hannah was on a roll! She was up the slide down the slide, up and down. Then she decided she did not need the stairs anymore she wanted to climb up the slide and boy did she! She made it all the way up pretty much all on her own! I did hold her little tooshy so make sure she didn't fall backwards but she did not need nay help! She's such a monkey! She would go down the slide on her butt, her tummy, again and again!!





Then we headed over to merry go round (I think haha!) It always made me dizzy so I'm not a fan but my little one loved it! She laughed when the kids spun it around! Then she (after it was stopped of course) proceeded to climb over each rail. I was waiting for her to meltdown when we left and she did not! Yay!!! I need to relax and enjoy these times and not wait for the meltdowns but I can't help it b/c I know they are coming!! (right?!?!)

Bed head......

I forget why I had to wake her up from her nap (which I hate doing) but I did and she was NOT ready to get up.......She was doing some good sleeping too :(


Yes Mom why did you bother me and bring that camera?!?!


Ugh?!?!? Foggy and not functioning. I guess now she knows how I feel mostly every day! haha!! She's a GREAT sleeper so I can NOT complain at all. I just need to learn to stop doing laundry, cleaning or FB and go to bed early!! haha like that will happen!

Peek a boo!!

We had a water playdate at our friend Madeline's house last week! It was such a blast!! She had a baby pool and a new playhouse she got for her 2nd birthday and lots of toys!! The girls ran around and played in the water! Hannah loved opening and closing the windows and just laughing when she saw people! :)

Red, White and Blue!! HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY!!!!!!!!!! (A little behind I know but I'm playing catch up!) I still want to find a smock dress that's patriotic for the 4th of July and just anytime!!! She has a cute little tank from Old Navy with a flag on it and this outfit which I LOVE!!!! It look's so cute on her and being in Annapolis it's perfect GO NAVY!!!!! (It has an anchor on it!) Daddy loves blue and anchors so we are on a search for the perfect dresses (I guess me too) when he comes home and we go to the airport!!!!!!!!

Baby bump pics

Finally here are some pictures of the "baby bump". I was not on the ball this pregnancy and didn't start taking pictures till 17 weeks :( I took some on my BB but not weekly. Ohwell around 17 I really popped out and you KNEW I was pregnant then so before I just looked chunky! : ) haha

I'm actually 22 weeks this week but haven't gotten around to uploading current pictures! I finally just got the ones off the camera from March! Plus with the computer down and only using the Mac it made things difficult!! My BFF fixed my computer! Let's just say it was not anything major and I have NO idea how I got an "A" in my computer class! Ohwell such as life it's working now so I'm a happy blogger once again!

Still sporting my favorite plaid shorts!! Woo Hoo!! Thank god for low cut jeans, shorts, skirts now!!!


Hannah giving some love to her baby brother/sister! I just LOVE when she does this!!! I usually say give baby a kiss, and she will but recently she will just pull my shirt up and give kisses on her own!! <3 Melts my heart!!!!!! She will rub the belly and pat it, but she's only 14 months so she gets kinda wild patting it!! haha



G R O W I N G!!!! 18 weeks!! Almost 1/2 way there!!!



Getting a rounder what feels like daily! And starting to feel and see the kicks!




HALF WAY THERE!!!!! OMG! I haven't really broken out the preggo clothes yet b/c I found these things called belly bands and they are a stretchy material that you put over your normal clothes and it works wonders!!! I still feel human and feel like I have some shape to me in "my" clothes! They are AMAZING!!!!!!! Like the best kept secret! You need to check them out!

Here is a little video of Hannah reading to herself, she usually just sits and looks at the books but today she was reading outloud and just having a good old time! It just cracks me up when she tosses it aside and goes onto the next one!! haha!

Hannah loves this pop up toy, her new thing is to put her face in it and let them blow up and hit her in the face!!! It's the funniest thing! She laughs and laughs!

What makes me happy.....

This baby girl certainly does!! She just crawls right up on the futon and starts looking at books. I love it! I love to read and my dad would take me to the library weekly growing up so I'm thrilled that she loves looking at books! She pulls them off her shelf's and will sit and look at them! It's amazing to me!


Check out those baby blues and her smile! She has a tooth coming in, it will be her 8th tooth. She's growing up so fast!!


She's a big helper too! She loves to pat her hair when I put shampoo in it! She's so funny!! Last night when I washed her body she copied me and ran her hands over her arms! She is listening great and I can tell her to get her shoes, sippy cup, diapers etc.....She's going to be a great big sister!!!
