Fun times!

We had some visitors during the week and that is always a treat! Tuesday till Wednesday we had Allison and her son Maddox come up fro Virginia and stay with us!!! Man was that crazy!!! 2 wild hyper kids and a baby and 2 tired mommies! :) It was good times though!

Here are the kids taking a bath, we should have just kept draining the tub and refilling it b/c they had a BLAST in there!!! Splashing and making waves, playing with the toys and so on!

Splash Splash Splash, They would do this and just laugh and laugh! It's one thing to splash yourself and laugh but another to laugh when someone else is splashing you but they loved it!

I thought that since Tessa is holding her head up better I would break out the swing jumper for her and of course Hannah thought it was for her and threw a fit then she realized it was for Tessa and threw a fit b/c she wanted to get in the swing and have Tessa on the floor. You can never win with a 2 year old huh????

This is a fun face! Even though it looks like she is about cry. Its the weeeee this is fun! She wasn't too sure about the swing but after a little bit she loved it! Of course she could only sit for a little bit before softly face planting or her arms falling down by her side! But it was something different to try.

All tuckered out and ready for some milk. That was hard work Mom.

These are my GIRLS! I dung this hat out and LOVE it! It fits Tess just right and she looks so darn cute in it! I could just kiss those cheeks ALL day! She's a little chunkester! (Yes, that's a word I just created!)

Hannah doing the death stare, these days that kids drives me insane then at the next second she leans in and turns my face and gives me kisses! She's working the system already! Shes going to be THAT girl, that turns boys heads, breaks THEIR hearts by saying yes to a date then laughs at them when they come to take her out, or she dumps them, THAT girl that is wild, carefree, wreckless, THAT girl that looses her friends clothes, stains them, doesn't return them, THAT girl that misses curfew, THAT sneaks out, THAT breaks bones climbing trees, THAT girl that will do something over and over again just because you said NO, THAT  girl that drives you 100% crazy then will say I LOVE YOU MOMMY and melts your hear right then and there!

Shes unbelievable! She test the limits and my patience everyday all day! But isn't her job as a (gulp almost 2 year old??) My mom had knee surgery on Wednesday so once Hannah got better we came into town and was making some cards and pictures for Nana and while coloring with markers this afternoon Hannah decided to color her face, hands, color her lips, the paper, table, all in 5 seconds or shorter! I would have taken a picture if I wasn't laughing so much! She will do everything you want her NOT to do! But yet somehow all I can do is cover her in kisses and with love!!! I say it again and again but "I" don't think she's a bad child she's just into everything, exploring, learning, and making me learn patience!

She keeps me on my toes and teaches me new things everyday. She's been under the weather and this week she kept saying mommy sit, and would point to the seat next to her! Sit play toys, sit watch Dora, sit night night Hannah! (sit and snuggle Hannah she means) How could you not stop what you were doing and love on the little one!!?

Ok I'm rambling on, I haven't been sleeping much this week so I'm off to bed! Goodnight!

VA Smiths Visit

This past weekend we had Remi's parents come up to visit us. (and by us I mean the girl's and myself) It was so nice to have company and have help with the girls! So Friday night I actually got to go out with the girls!!! We did not meet till 8 so I put the girls to bed got ready then headed out for all of 2 hours! haha! That is about as long as we mommy's can handle!

As the Valentine week continues here's Hannah sporting ALL of her stickies....aka stickers! haha. She's a trip/ She LOVES stickers!

See they are everywhere then she had pulled and put them on again and again that they did not stick to her but she found that they stuck to the floor still.....grrrrr!!!

Valentines from Grandma (Hannah calls her Madra) and Geegee! Their own personalized lunch bags! Tess could fit in hers!

This little lady loves purses so she was excited!

 Then the silly girl decides to wear it as a hat! She was so excited she kept saying hat hat!!!! We were laughing then realized we shouldn't encourage her to put things on her head!

 

 She's so much fun but getting to that 2 stage. I have to use time out alot and she doesn't care, sometimes she does! I will ask her "Hannah do you want to sit in time out" (thinking she will say no then stop whatever she was doing) Nope not my girl, she says yes time out, then will go and sit! Who does that!??! I was at the doctors b/c she extremely fussy, wasn't sleeping, fever (cold and ear infection) so anyway we were there and she was opening the door multiple times so I said Hannah please stop that. Do you want to have to sit in time out? She replies Yes. The nurses laughed, its hard not too! So she said in time out then was at it again! She drives me crazy but I wouldn't trade her for the world!!!! (I'm beyound exhasuted so I would write more about what she does and gets into but I honestly can't think of anything)

Our Loot

 We ALL felt the love this Valentines Day! But we feel that way EVERYDAY! :o) The girl's got cards and special Valentines made by their friends as you can see, they got cookies and candy! (Hannah's potty training treats!) AND mommy got 2 things of flowers.....well to be honest the 3 of us girls got them! One card with the flowers  said "I love you" and the other card said "More"!!! awwww!!

We are totally cheesy and play the whole i love you more game........so yup he won that time! We didn't get to talk to him but we got to the next day on skype and Hannah loved giving daddy kisses!

And for lunch he ordered pizza for us and it looked like this!! :) I had some friends over and we chowed down!!! It was a GREAT day!!!!!!!!!!!! Just wished our valentine could have been with us but next year!!! Hope you all had a lovely day!!!

Baby Blues

Our girls have blue eyes and very LONG FULL eyelashes, something neither Remi or I have! Strange yes! But here's a few shots of them loving on each other. Hannah found this sun hat and has been wearing it ALL the time! It was chilly yesterday so I told her to grab a hat and that's what she came to the front door wearing! Well I have to give her credit, she listened and grabbed a hat!!! I guess next time I need to say a warm fuzzy hat???

Mwah!!! This girl loves her sissy! We all could kiss that fuzzy head all day long!

THOSE are the baby blue's I'm talking about!! :o) Hannahs a a deep blue and Tessa's are so light and big! She looks frightened here! Uh oh! Sissy has me and might drop me! haha! I love them!

Valentines Playdate & Dinner

Somedays I can't seem to get it together and remember anything and well Monday was one of those days!!! I thought Tess had her 4 month appointment and knew she was getting shots and it would be a little longer than normal so I planned ahead and asked my friend Keely to keep Hannah. She has a daughter Leah, and they play "good" together! haha! They are a month apart and are both little firecrackers!

Anyways, I woke up thinking hmmm I believe her appointment is Tuesday for some reason, so I called and sure enough it is Tuesday, thats after I missed the one scheduled last week!!! Totally forgot about it and was at my parents in Richmond when they called....umm Tess has an appointment today like 30 mins ago?? oops!!

So I invited Keely, Leah and another friend Jeni and her son Gavin over so the kids could play and plus I was told to be home by lunchtime by the hubby who is out of town.....so you know playgroups always run over so eveyone came to us! It was a great time and Remi had pizza delivered for us! Heart shaped pizza and a yummy dessert with it! :) It was a huge hit by the adults and kids!!!

Hannah crawled up on the couch and started watching Lauren play the leapster and sat up there for quite a while!

Dancin' in heels

Last weekend my parents came up to keep us company and well frankly to help out!! Hannah's a pistol so extra hands is always great! Well she was EXTREMELY HAPPY to see them and was such a show off. I know she can turn it on and off though b/c nap time she goes from aaaahh wild women to zzzzzz then wild women aaahhhhh again then zzzz at bedtime. She is pushing the limits to the extreme! :) But it's how shes expressing herself.

Anyway here are a few pics of our weekend.........

My tired little snuggle bunnies. Hannah had just done pee pee in her potty so she was too busy to smile b/c shes eating a piece of candy. Her reward for going potty and its working!

Opening her Valentine from Nana and Papa.....she was reading it again and again, then had to put it back in the envelope when she was done.

The pretty princess in high heels, diaper and crown walking her baby. My how things will change when she gets older. We will keep her in clothes! And keep in mind its only like 30 degrees for the high here and she's not cold, she will say HOT HOT.

And now we have lost the diaper and baby, but gained a shirt. (This is what happens when kids can dress and undress themselves!) I only fight it when we are going somewhere, we have playgroup, or nap/bedtime!! Its not worth the struggle and she is kinda potty training to the less clothes the better is the way I see it!

AND here's Tess!!!! I feel bad b/c I don't have a lot of pictures of Tess but she does so much sleeping (not complaining!!!!) that when she's up we are on the go or eating, or playing and I forget to take pictures! She just loves her Papa. She loves for him to talk to her and make silly noises!

We had a great weekend! I LOVE it when my parents come to visit! They are amazing and help us out so much! I get so spoiled by them being able to come up whenever! Even when Remi is home, it's always a good time! We did some planning  and shopping on Hannah's 2nd Birthday coming up! :) Thanks Mom and Dad for EVERYTHING! I (WE) love you!

Naps=Happy Hannah

 The other day I go to get Hannah from her nap and I'm greeted with this precious face!! (please ignore the mess room, I'm flying solo with 2 little ones ok!?! :)) It's great b/c Hannah knows she needs a nap and it's usually not a fuss! She will say Hannah night night!

 The contents out of the crib......never fails, if she just woke up and I heard her or if I left her for a few minutes! Everything is tossed out?!?! She just likes to make a mess like her daddy! <3 haha

And once again happy b/c she's out of the crib and ready to play her kitty cat keyboard. She treats it like a radio though, hits the temp button and lets it play thru the songs and notes and says "nosie" Yes honey that thing makes a lot of noise. :)

Tessa 4 months

Here is Tessa at her 4 month appointment! She actually weighed in at 12 lbs 4 ozs, 23 1/2 inches long!! She's a squirt!!!! But we knew that, but we still think she looks SO BIG!! (from when we brought her home!).

-You like being propped up more with pillows all around you, you LOVE looking around and being part of the action
-You have rolled over from your belly to back but didn't do it again, I think I just let you get ticked off enough and you did it b/c you were upset! haha
-You sleep awesome! 8pm till 7am! Hooray!!! Keep it up girl!!!! Your sister usually wakes you up b/c shes been getting up earlier than normal!
-We are still nursing and you take a bottle with formula if needed. But I don't leave ya much!!!
-You like tummy time, you prop your head up HIGH and look around it just bobs while you take everything in
-You LOVE your BIG sister!!! She can make you laugh like noone else can!!!
-You have the cutest, chunkest, kissable cheeks EVER
-We can't get enough of you!!!!!!!!!

 haha! I love this little squirt! She's perfect in every way!!!!!! Hannah has started calling her sissy! It's precious!

Hannah's Valentine

 Hannah not listening to the story at storytime.......she use to sit still and listen and clap, dance, etc now she runs around....what happened?!?!?

Listening on how to do the craft NOW that got her attention!!! Grace is hugging on her friend :) She's such a sweetie!

Making her Valentines.....I was hoping she would make a few but only had the attention span for 1...ohwell!

We went to story time today at the library and they made Valentines! :) Here is Hannah and her friend Grace, she was caught using the glue stick like chap stick so she wan't happy to have her picture taken!!! They are friends from playgroup and bible study!!!!! Grace keeps bows in her hair (unlike Hannah) and is calm and quiet (unlike Hannah)! I guess opposites do attract even among girlfriends!!
