Whew!

WOW, I don't want to scare anyone that doesn't have kids or has one and another one on the way BUT man this past week has kicked my booty! Whoever said " ah you already have 1, why not have more?? It's easy" was seriously smoking some crack! It's not "easy", you have NO time and getting up and out takes 5x as long as before! We are so use to our dear sweet (haha) Hannah going to bed at 7pm and then we have a whole evening to ourselves.....NOT anymore! It's totally fine and I'm not complaining (I love every minute of it), I just forget what it's like to have a newborn, no sleep, nursing, a war zone house, etc even though it was 18 months ago we had Hannah.....then I have my dear sweet husband remind me the "how to" what not to do, their sleep schedule! Why does he remember and I don't when I was the one living/waking up through it?!?!

Thank god for him! mwah! :) love ya baby!

It's been a wild, crazy month, almost 2 now!! ekk! Slow down Tessa! I'm just saying what's on my mind and how I feel and I've learned not to complain time does fly and before I know it things will be "easy" and she'll be going to bed with Hannah sleeping through the night, crawling, walking, talking, eating solids, riding a bike, and on and on...........So I'm enjoying our crazy life! To quote the wacked out psycho mom KateGosselin,  

"It may be a crazy life, but it's our life" 

I love it and wouldn't change a thing! <3 

Hannah's 1st haircut!

 While we were in Richmond on Friday we went and visited my friend Allison who works at a super cute hair salon for kids called Pigtails and Crewcuts! It was about time for a trim b/c the back of her hair was starting to look like a mullet! She wasn't too thrilled about being in the chair alone and played shy. Thursday night she spent the night at her Grandma and GeeGee's house. So she stayed up later than usual playing with them and Aunt Gemma and Uncle Dewi! So she was in rare form by 10am on Friday!

Not so sure about whats going on here.

 Hmmm... I'm in a chair that's a car and I'm wearing a cape.....am I a superhero!??! I'm ok though b/c I have a lollipop!!! 

 Cheering up b/c this isn't so bad! She liked getting sprayed by the water bottle! Of course my child likes that she's a water baby!

 " AH AH" aka Airplane is flying around the shop...Do you see how happy she is?? I'm amazed how much she loves any mode of transportation! I LOVE the fact I have 2 girls and so far one of them has little interest in baby dolls or barbies (so far!) She prefers things her daddy loves and he is over the moon about it!

 This isn't so bad, I think next time I will start off happy and not have a fit! :) haha All in all it was an experience and quite a nice one for the 1st time! We got a card with her picture in it and a lock of her hair that will go into her baby book!

Thanks Allison! I hope you enjoyed cutting her hair and Thank you! I'm so glad you got to be the 1st person to cut it!!!! We had a wonderful time visiting with you and can't wait for more fun times!!!!!!!

Family Weekend!

 The first weekend of November we had Remi's sister Gemma and her finance Kenny come to visit us Friday-Saturday then on Saturday-Sunday we had his parents visit! Remi's brother High School Band was performing at the United States Naval Academy (GO NAVY!!!) on Sunday. So it was a fun filled weekend of visitors and lots of people to chase Hannah around! She had a blast!!!!!


 Here is Kenny and Tessa, taking a mid morning snooze!! I like how they are posed the same!!! She sleeps with her hands up a lot, I'm like relax girl!!

Hannah and her Aunt "Emma" (Gemma)! Hannah gets the last part of her name! Once again it's her way of saying Gemma and it's precious! Gemma is so wonderful with her and is always spoiling her!!! Spending time with her, going on walks, buying her lots of cute things and toys!!! I can't wait till Hannah can say "I want to go visit Aunt Gemma" of course I say that now but when it happens I will probably be sad she wants to get away from me! haha (Remind me I said that later!)

 Just a pretty picture of the American flag! Everyone bundled up and headed out to the competition, but Tessa and I stayed back and took a nap inside where it was warm!! :)

 She LOVED all the music!!! She was amazed by all the flags and props the schools used! She was dancing and jumping around on the bleachers to the point where they let her walk around and be on sturdy ground so she didn't fall!! She met a friend and got that lovely green noise maker! It claps (loudly) when you wave it around.....and oh boy does she like to make NOISE!!!!!! Wonder where she got that from!?!? haha (Remi!)

1 month!

WOW how fast the time is flying!! Tessa Nicole are you 1 month old already!!! You have changed soooooooooooo much already! I'm amazed everytime I look at you! You weigh over 7 lbs (7lbs 7ozs to be exact) You are still a little squirt but look so big from birth!! You can tell it in your face and belly!!!

Your big sister Hannah just loves you to pieces! She wakes up every morning asking for "Tesh" I just LOVE IT! She has her own nickname for you, it's not Tessa, Tess but Tesh! Precious! She could love on you all day long! Hugs, Kisses, rocking you in the seat, giving you your passy, She loves to burp you or as she says, Tesh back. So after I nurse you I have her help me burp you and she pats your back! She pats a little hard sometimes but she is learning!

Hannah your the best big sister EVER! Tessa is going to be looking up to you so please set good examples for her! You are an amazing child and I can't wait to see you grow up and bond with your sister!

My girls! You 2 are going to be the best of friends! Your daddy and I can't wait to see you 2 grow up and who you will look like, take after, what sports your going to play, what music instruments your going to like!! Who knows whats in store for you girls!!

We posed Hannah by this gorilla every month till she was a year and we are doing the same thing for you Tessa! You look so small in it's lap but pretty soon you will fill all the empty space!! I know there will be fights over this gorilla one day! But for now it sits in your crib till you outgrow the cradle in our room!!

Off goes your crazy wild naked sister Hannah! I usually see her back side while she takes off running but she's usually dressed! haha! Shes so fast these days all I do is chase after her!!!!!!

Your fav pal Teddy. He's so calm and gentle with you 2 it's amazing b/c he is CrAzY!!! Seriously he's nutty and runs around the house all the time while you 2 just stare at him and laugh!

Right now you are growing and changing so quick!!! You are already so aware of people and noises around you! You open your big beautiful blue eyes and just stare at things! You are starting to coo and make a pretty grin!!! I love your little toothless smile! As your Nana said with Hannah, your her gummy bear! I just love that! It's exactly what you are!!! You are doing amazing with nursing and I'm giving you a bottle a day to get use to it and it allows your daddy to feed and bond with you! You have been going to bed around 9-9:30 at night and sleep untill 2 usually so I can NOT complain about lack of sleep b/c your awesome at sleep!! (Thank you!!!!!!!!!) Then I feed you and within 15 mins your back out till morning and then the cycle repeats it self! Eat, Poop, Sleep!!!!!! You LOVE bathtime however you hate getting undressed but once your in the warm water your so content and you just look around and pee in the water! haha

Man I'm bad about uploading pictures! BUT I do have an excuse this time! I had another kidney stone and this one kicked my booty!!!! I was in and out of pain all last week and sick when I had the pain so it was a vicious cycle that finally ended but the good news is.....Tessa took the bottle and formula like a champ!!! yay!! I was pumping and dumping so I could nurse again when I was off the medicine! So we are finally back on track (I think) Tessa was fussy, gassy, confused for a while with breast milk, formula, breast milk, formula.....poor baby girl!

Friday Night Highlights

On Friday night we went to visit with some friends!!! These are the kiddies I use to keep everyday until they moved away :( Near too far but far enough they have different childcare. booo!! I miss them they are so much fun and love little Hannah Banana and now Miss Tessa! :)

 As you can tell it didn't take Hannah long to warm up to them! She loved having them at our house playing with her and and believe it or not I got MORE done with 3 kids than I do now with my own 2!!!!!! haha They really entertained her!

 Now she's entertaining them by running them over with the stroller, she runs around with it saying BEEP BEEP then crashes into you.....feels great on your heels..........NOT!

It was so good to see them and catch up! They use to live 2 houses down from us, moved a few months back and haven't seen them in MONTHS!!! But it won't be that long again! The kids play great together, the adults love to chat and the food is always good!!!! It's just so welcoming at Dolly's house, I believe that Hannah wouldn't mind if we left her there! She was obsessed with all of Lauren's dolls and accessories! Lauren gave her a little baby carrier (like I carry Tessa in everyday) so she knew what to do with it! She put her baby doll in it and carried it to the car and held onto it all the way home!! I thought she was going to sleep with it. But when we got home she got the baby out, put the carrier next to Tessa's and asked to sleep with baby! How could I say no??? It's just precious! Now she has to have a diaper on her baby doll!!!!!!!! It's hilarious! I say it all the time but she's such a girl and its all natural! Yup I agree with Remi, He's in trouble with 2 girls!
